Recruitment process

Our recruitment process differs slightly from country to country. Below, you will find information about how we conduct interviews and what kind of paperwork you should provide.

Prokura recruitment process

The selection process at Prokura involves an extensive application and interview process to guarantee that we select the very best candidate for the position. Each potential candidate needs to send the following documents:

  • Your CV
  • A cover letter
  • University diploma and grade transcripts
  • A recommendation letter (if possible)
  • Potential candidates can prepare for a case-based interview i.e. at preplounge

The interview process

The day begins with a group interview, where you will work with two to three other candidates who have also applied for a position at Prokura. You are presented with a case and asked to solve this within your team and present the results afterward. While working on the case and presenting it, you are observed by a team of Prokura consultants, who act as a jury during the interview. The group interview format helps us assess your skills within four focus areas:

  • Problem solving
  • Presentation skills and performance
  • Personal impact and drive
  • Leadership abilities

This group session will be followed by two individual interviews with Prokura senior consultants. Afterward, the interviewers debrief and decide which candidates move further. Each candidate receives individual feedback. If you are chosen to go further, the day continues with meetings with two of our partners for two separate 60-minute interviews.

Tips and tricks for the interview

If you have not done an interview before, we recommend you:

  • Practice talking about your CV
  • Practice calculations without a calculator
  • Think about why management consulting and Prokura are a great fit for you
  • Evaluate which value you personally could add on projects
  • Prepare for a case-based interview i.e. at preplounge
  • Prokura needs to convince you as well – be prepared to ask questions giving you assurance to that

The interview process

We aim at conducting all interviews on the same day in our Oslo office. The interview process starts with two interviews with different colleagues across different ranks. You will then receive individual feedback and if you are chosen to go further, the day continues with two more interviews with associate partners and/or partners.

The interviews are a mixture of personal fit testing and case-interviews. They help us assessing your skills mainly within the areas of Problem solving as well as personal fit and drive. At the same time, it is equally important to us that you get the chance to talk to different colleagues to further shape your picture of how working at Prokura feels like. You will get feedback stating if Prokura would like to extend an offer on the very same day.
