We want you to feel prepared and confident as you step into our process. On this page, you’ll find the following:
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking talented, ambitious problem-solvers from a wide variety of academic and professional backgrounds. What matters most is your ability to think critically, break down complex problems, and make a real impact for our clients.
We believe that diverse backgrounds and experiences are essential for solving our clients’ challenges. That’s why we are committed to running a fair and inclusive recruitment process that values different perspectives and unique ways of thinking.
Our way of interviewing
Joining Prokura means becoming part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you’ll help solve complex challenges for leading organizations. Our interview process combines behavioral and case interviews to help us learn about you as a person and potential colleague.
For most client-facing roles, the process typically begins with two 60-minute interviews with our consultants. Candidates who advance will then meet two of our partners for additional 60-minute interviews. Depending on the schedule, these may be conducted over two separate rounds or all on the same day. Your recruiter will confirm the details in advance.
Preparing for the interview
We want you to feel as comfortable and prepared as possible before meeting us. An interview is not only our opportunity to get to know you, but also a chance to explore whether Prokura is the right place for you.
We recommend the following to help you prepare:
- Practice presenting your CV. Walk us through your experiences, and highlight what you have learned along the way.
- Research Prokura. Get to know how we work, learn about our culture, and reflect on why you are motivated to join us.
- Consider the value you can add. Think about the unique strengths, perspectives, or experiences that you could bring to our team.
- Remember it’s a dialogue: the interview is a two-way process. We’re here to convince you as much as you’re here to convince us, so prepare thoughtful questions to ask.
- Use the SAO method. Structure your answers to behavioral questions describing the situation, action, and outcome. This will help you communicate clearly and concisely.
- Practice mental math. Consultants often work with numbers, so practice your ability to make calculations without a calculator.
- Prepare for the case (for consultant roles only). Preparation is essential to success. Practice solving case studies, business problems, and mathematical calculations under pressure to strengthen your analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Remember to be yourself. Showcase your unique strengths by being true to yourself.
